No. Registration places your student into our placement process. We carefully match each student with an instructor based on instrument, age, experience, availability, and scheduling. If all available openings are filled, your student will be placed on our priority waiting list in the order registrations were received.

Every student is individually matched based on instrument or voice, age, experience level, schedule availability, instructor availability, and overall educational fit. Our goal is finding the right instructor, not simply the first available instructor.

Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums & Percussion, Voice, Violin, Banjo, Ukulele, Mandolin, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium/Baritone, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Oboe, Bassoon, Music Theory, Songwriting, Music Production, and Live Audio Engineering. As new instructors join Greeneville Music Academy, additional offerings will continue to expand.

Students grow through three stages as their confidence, skills, and performance experience develop.

ROOTS (30-minute private lessons)
Students meet one-on-one with their instructor each week to build strong musical foundations, develop proper technique, and establish healthy practice habits. This is where every musical journey begins.

SESSIONS (45-minute program)
Students combine two private lessons and two group band rehearsals each month. This allows them to continue developing individually while learning to collaborate, communicate, and perform alongside other musicians.

STAGE (60-minute program)
Our most advanced pathway is designed for students preparing for performance opportunities and advanced musicianship. Instruction may include a combination of private lessons, group rehearsals, ensemble coaching, and performance preparation depending on each student's goals and level of development.

Students are not required to move through every level. Our instructors will recommend the pathway that best supports each student's growth.

Our Group Vocal Program is a performance-based ensemble experience where students develop healthy vocal technique, harmony, rhythm, stage presence, teamwork, and performance skills. Students rehearse weekly and perform throughout the year.

Absolutely. Many students begin with no prior musical experience. Our instructors are trained to meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence.

Yes. While much of our programming serves youth, we also offer lessons for adult students.

Greeneville Music Academy is proudly in residence at Trinity United Methodist Church in Greeneville, Tennessee. Additional educational partnerships may be added as our programs continue to grow.

Instrumental & Private Vocal Lessons:

• Roots (30-minute private lessons): $140/month
• Sessions (45-minute program): $210/month
• Stage (60-minute program): $280/month

Group Vocal Program:

• Roots Voices: $35/month
• Sessions Harmony: $45/month
• Stage Collective: $55/month

Registration is free. Once your student has been matched with an instructor and lesson time has been confirmed, a one-time $25 registration fee is collected to officially reserve their place in the program.

Private lesson tuition includes four lessons per month. Group Vocal tuition includes weekly rehearsals throughout the season.

Please notify us as soon as possible. Make-up lessons are handled according to our attendance policy and instructor availability.

Not yet. One of the primary goals of the Greeneville Music Academy Foundation is to make music education accessible to every family in our community. While scholarships are not currently available, our Foundation Board is actively building partnerships and securing funding to launch a need-based scholarship program in the future. As scholarship opportunities become available, they will be announced on our website and social media channels.

Rather than asking families to fit into predetermined lesson times, we build the schedule around our students. This allows us to make the best instructor match while creating schedules that work for both families and teachers.

Our instructors are experienced educators and working musicians who are passionate about helping students grow. All instructors complete an application, interview process, reference checks, and background screening before joining our team.
